My Experience:
Working in a professional environment, though initially daunting, became easier as I adapted to it. This experience allowed me to work more efficiently, not only by strengthening my software and research skills but also by enhancing my ability to think on my feet and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Collaborating closely with peers from diverse fields such as engineering, business, and literature encouraged me to step out of the bubble of my own perspective. It made me more mindful of our varied viewpoints, which helped me eventually communicate my ideas more clearly and effectively to both my peers and senior colleagues.
Overall, this experience was refreshing and eye-opening, exposing me to aspects of professional work that aren’t always present in a classroom setting. It pushed me to grow both as a designer and as a team member, preparing me for more collaborative and dynamic work environments.
